Summer seems to be really busy to me.

I am mixing the Norwegian based stoner band "Emanuel Desperados". The mixing will be finished in a couple of weeks and the CD will be available soon.

I also started working on a hit single for the little "Norske talenter" finalist Celina. I will record guitars, arrange the songs and produce it.

The track so far is really catchy and I really think it will have a very good feedback when it will be sold in stores to the public.

About Arcadia we'll take part in the "Maximum Rock Festival" in Italy on 25 July, supporting the English Metal Legend "Napalm Death".

My "Skien Gitarskole og Lydstudio" will move to a totally new location (still in Skien/Norway).

More news about that during the summer...

Hi everybody, I'm just back from the Spring session tour with Arcadia supporting Six Feet Under and Illdisposed and soon after that the big Italian Expo "Music Italy Show".

Nice to find there some friends that I hadn't seen for long time.

All the demos for Peavey Amp were pretty good, I played the 3120 head and a couple of pxd guitars.

Hello Everybody !

I've just come back from a couple of clinics and concerts in Norway with the Norwegian Dimitry Band.

Now the next 2 months will be dedicated to the new Arcadia release "Roy Philip Nohl" and the big upcoming Arcadia tour supporting the band "Six Feet Under" (Usa/Metal Blade Rec.).

The new disc is on its way to the mastering and will be available for fans in the beginning of April. The presale will start soon.

I'll be playing for "Peavey Amp" in the upcoming big expo in Bologna, Italy on May 15-16-17, 2010; I'll be playing some Peavey amps as the 6505 and 3120. I am waiting for confirmation of a possible Arcadia participation in the event either on 16th or 17th May.

I also have really big news and I'll reveal that soon on these pages so stay tuned.

The first two clinics went really good. Soon you will have some clips on line on my youtube channel and on this website.

I want to thank all my students who came to MusikkTorvet to check me out on the 11th February.

Eventually the new Arcadia album "Roy Philip Nohl" will be ready by March.

The record is going to be released by April 1, 2010 and Arcadia leave on tour supporting the big band "Six Feet Under" (Metal Blade).

In May 2010 I'll play at the Bologna MUSIC SHOW 2010 (Bologna-IT) for Peavey Italy, so I invite all my Italian fans to come and check me out there.

Bologna Music Show will be the biggest music expo in Italy, so for those who will come I'll be there on May 15, 16, 17.

Hello Folks.

Just to start, I wish all of you a Happy New Year 2010.

Lots of stuff going on at the very beginning of the year...

I'll have some clinic solo gigs in the first months, please check "tour dates" for details...

I received the new Peavey "mini" Vypyr, the custom preamp I talked about last time and that I will use during my next dates.

I really thank Peavey for this tool and for the support they constantly give to me.

A couple of gigs with the "Dimitry's Band" in March will be revealed soon. (Please check tourdates page often.)

The new Arcadia album mix is almost finished. Still we don't know when the album will be out but we'll figure that out soon. Thanks for your patience guys...
The songs sound killer and no doubt this will be the best album of Arcadia ever!!! Agressive, melodic, groovy and technical!!!

Hello Everybody...

Hope you had a great summer holiday...

I am on my way with the mixing of the new material and the new edition of the cd Evolution will be available in mid-September 2009 with 2 bonus tracks that sound really cool...

Arcadia will release the new album (the 4th) by the end of the year, the title of the cd will be "Roy Philip Nohl".

We are discussing these days about which record label and distribution will release that...

The band will leave on tour at the end of October...

On the teaching front I am starting a new guitar course, an "on line course".

I'll introduce that in my blog during the next few days...

I've just opened a company in Skien (Norway) called Skien Gitarskole og Lydstudio.

I'm actually combining together a recording studio and a music school.

It's about some services to help (beginners and experienced) musicians to improve as artists and as musicians/guitar players, using my own experience...

Hi everybody! Some news in June...

I will release a new limited version of "Evolution", my first solo album, in September with 2 bonus tracks + a rom track with some "making of the record" behind the scene videos. I'll get into the studio in the middle of July.

The new songs sound heavier and with a more "progressive" appeal... I'll have a couple of shows in September regarding this "new" project...

Let's change the subject: Arcadia are in the studio working on the 4^th album. We think that the album will be out by the beginning of 2010, some songs are already online as preview at: www.myspace.com/arcadiabastardcore. In August we'll take part in the "Help Fest" in Czech Republic, we'll headline the fest.

From the production front I'll work in the studio with the progressive metal band AtomiXynergy from Turin (IT) in July for their first full length album.

Hey... A lot of stuff going on in May...

I am writing some new material for my solo project. I have a couple of new songs which will be recorded in the month of July and released in September also regarding that project we are planning to play some dates from September. So stay tuned to see if we'll play in your town.

I am also going to record some other tracks with Arcadia at the end of the month: we are making a new album, recording 3 songs every 3/4 months and I can guess we have it out in the autumn of 2009.

This month you can find some interesting news about me and a description of my activities as a guitar player on the soundwave website (Italian distribution of Morley Pedals).

I'm also "featured artist" on the Morley website this month. There you can find an article about me, my activities and my bands.

I also posted on this website 4 new videos of me while playing the new Peavey amps and guitars and some Morley products...

I created and published my personal blog. Visit it now, listen and rate one of my songs and leave your comments.

Other news will be published soon, I am actually working on some exiting projects...

Hey, what's up? Spring time!

I shot my first demo-video... One clip is already on line. Check that out now!
Every week there will be a clip out on my website in the section "download/video".
In the video I play some songs coming from my brand new album "Evolution", some Arcadia songs and also new songs from the upcoming album of Arcadia.

Peavey electronics have just sent me a new amplifier (Vypyr) and a new guitar (PXD TOMB II). You can see me in the video playing some tracks with that guitar.

That's a digital amplifier and it simulates all the major Peavey amps. (I'll shoot a video using that in a couple of months).

About the guitar I got, it's a really really metal guitar...
Superb shape, nice colour, great sound, EMG pick-ups and a booster on the bridge pickup of +20 db !!!

How is life going?

We are currently mixing the new Arcadia 2009 promo and I must say I'm very satisfied with the work we're doing.

The promo should be out in about ten days and precisely ten years after an important event in the band's career: the release of "Trust", our first 1999 promo.

"Trust" gave us the opportunity to sign our first contract with a record company, "NoBrain Records", and that was just the beginning!!!
We are hopeful that this 2009 promo can bring us the same (if not better) luck as the 1999 one did.

I have just received the new pedal "Bad Horsie II" from "Morley Pedals", USA. This company is going into partnership with me and my plans...

My 2nd Peavey amplifier is about to be delivered too. It's a "Vypyr" and uses digital technology based on physical models. It emulates all of the characteristics of Peavey amplifiers from the beginning up to now.

In the next posts I'll be more accurate and describe all the features of my new tools.

Dimitry flew back to Italy to start the recording of 2 new promo tracks for Arcadia, the songs will be soon downloadable on www.arcadiacrew.com.

He's also going to finish the mastering of the great stoner band El Negro, the album sounds really cool and groovy.

The artist is also leaving on the Italian tour with Arcadia on 11th February.

In March he will start the recording of the new album of Arcadia and on 19th will have the shooting for the 1st demonstration video.

New endorsement: Dimitry's got the "Morley pedals" endorsement. He's just waiting for the Bad Horsie II.

Dimitry has just came back from the third part of the Arcadia "Never Home Tour 2 2008".

His CD ' Evolution ' is out since September and some great reviews can already be found on the Italian "Metal Maniac" (Nov 2008) and online magazines such as www.metallus.it, www.metalwave.it, www.eutk.net.

Dimitry also got the Peavey endorsement.
