Codex Magika press release

Dimitry, the guitar player of the metal band Arcadia (Italy/Norway) announces that he's working on a new music project.

The name of the band is "Codex Magika", the debut album will be available in january 2012..

Dimitry is currently in the studio for the writing/recording sessions in his recording studios in Norway (Skien gitarskole og lydstudio). The drummer is gonna be Magnus Nødset, who already worked with Dimitry in the "Dimitry Evolution" album in 2009. Vocalist on 2 tracks will be Davide Merletto from the Band Daedalus from Genova (It) and Alessandro Cacace, from the band Atomixynergy will be tracking bass on 2 other tracks.

New guest: NIC ANGILERI (it/ch), bass player of Jorn Lande (No) on bass on track 6: IT BEGINS AGAIN.

The album will be for the lovers of technical and progressive fusion rock/metal.

Dimitry joined Abomination/European tour in November

I joined the American band "Abomination" for the next European tour in November 2011 (check tour dates section). The band is on the road again after 20 years of sleeping and still led by the legendary singer/bass player "Paul Speckmann".

The drummer will be "Raphael Saini" (it/br) from the band emergency gate..

Look foward to seeing all the fans on the road...

Tour & Album Update

After months on the road supporting The Revolution of Evolution, with shows across Asia, the US, and Europe, we are now closing the first part of the tour with a final date in Belgium at Six K Fest alongside amazing bands and musicians.

The response to the album has been absolutely overwhelming in the best possible way. Fans and critics embraced The Revolution of Evolution far beyond my expectations, and seeing all the support has been incredibly rewarding after all the hard work.

The video for Undercurrent also surpassed 50,000 views—an unexpected milestone for a niche artist like me while my Spotify numbers finally reached the level I always hoped for.

A huge thank you to the musicians who joined me on this tour: Laurent Bernadac, Yohan Delasalle, Cello Azul, Eric Nalin, and Alessandro Cacace.

Now, it's time to slow down a bit on live gigs and focus on writing the next chapter of my prog metal journey: album number seven in my solo discography.

On the Inspiria Guitars side, we continue to grow with updated guitar models, the LP4 2.0, a new five-string bass, and fresh string packs. Check them out at InspiriaGuitars.com.

I'll also release upgraded versions of SL8: a studio edition and a live edition from the Alexandrian Metal Assault in Italy last May.
